Today is just an absolutely beautiful day! At least to me it is. The weather is slightly chilled in the high 40's low 50's. There is the threat of snow as low as 500 ft and with that there is always rain. It just does NOT snow in Oregon that much, let alone in the month of April. This spring is just kind of crazy. I decided to have breakfast at my favorite place and head down the Historic Columbia River Gorge Highway with Maggie (the pooch) in tow.. not to mention my camera and tri pod.
The wind was blowing, the sun was out, I could see rain falling miles away. Flowers, green grass, bike riders... just amazing. Taking my time winding along that old highway I am reminded how lucky I am to live in such a wonderful place. I will get the photos posted as soon as I get my computer set up... probably tomorrow sometime. If any of you are ever out along the Columbia River, let me know, there are amazing places to go and see and photograph out here. Here's hoping you are all having a wonderful spring. Keep taking photos, being creative, and putting your stuff out there!
-Ciao!

I thrive on the empty of the Great North. There are no buses, no big business. No daily mad rush to the industrial park; no McDonalds and no Starbucks. Just sky; trees; the wolf and the buffalo. Lack of these things is not isolation. It's Freedom.
